A simple, modular system: a central base station and a family of wireless sensors purpose-built to catch the threats that cause the most damage to homes and cottages.
The Brain
The master station that ties everything together. Every sensor reports back to the Brain, which relays alerts to the cloud over Wi-Fi or cellular — whichever is available. A built-in battery backup keeps it running and connected even when the power goes out, so it can tell you the moment power is lost and again when it returns — so you'll know how long it was off and whether the food in your fridge or freezer is still safe.
Water + Temperature Sensor
Place it anywhere moisture could appear — under a sink, behind a washing machine, near a water heater, or on a basement floor. The moment it detects water, syndii sends an alert. The same sensor also monitors temperature, so you can be warned before pipes freeze.
Water Shutoff Controller
Detection is only half the job — the Water Shutoff Controller does something about it. It drives a motorized water valve and automatically closes it when one of your water sensors detects a leak, or when its built-in temperature sensor sees the home drop below a threshold you set. You choose which water sensors trigger the valve. Once it closes, it stays closed and waits for you to reopen it — and an onboard battery backup means it can still shut the valve during a power outage, exactly when you need it most.
Sound Sensor
Your smoke and CO alarms only help if someone is home to hear them. The upcoming Sound Sensor listens for the distinct sound of a fire or CO alarm and warns you the moment it hears one — so you know something is wrong even when you're away.
